Meet Dr. Shepard
Dr. Keith Shepard is a Fort Lauderdale, Florida native and a Florida A&M University and Howard University Dental College graduate.
After completing dental school, Dr. Shepard was commissioned as an Captain in US Army Dental Corps in 1998. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for four years active duty and four years reserve. Once his active duty service obligation was fulfilled, he moved to Philadelphia where he practiced for ten years throughout Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey before finally moving to the metropolitan Atlanta area.
Dr. Shepard has practiced in Metro Atlanta and is now located in Smyrna. Dr. Shepard is commited to providing quality and compassionate dentistry. He was traumatized as a child by a dentist and attempts to make his patients feel calm and relaxed with his mild manner and sense of humor. He wants to make his patients feel like family.
Dr. Shepard is a monthly volunteer at the Ben Massell Dental Clinic where patients are offered no cost dental treatment and the Colgate Dental Bright Smiles Bright Future Dental Van for children. He continues to educate himself by staying on top of the latest dental procedures and techniques dentistry has to offer. He has attended conferences and seminars and has completed hundreds of hours in continuing education. Dr. Shepard enjoys family time, traveling, and working out in his free time.
